Description
Winton is a traditional range of oil colours, made from moderately priced pigments, formulated for student and amateur artists or more accomplished painters requiring large volumes of colour within moderate cost limits. A high level of pigmentation provides good covering power and tinting strength. While it can't match the superior pigment load of Winsor & Newton Artists' Oil Colour, the Winton range is much stronger than many other artists' quality ranges. Winton uses moderately priced pigments rather than lessening the pigment content to an unacceptable level.

Perfect for wet on wet
Very firm, perfect for wet on wet oil painting. The tubes usually need quite a bit of kneading before opening, as they're quite separated at first. I've noticed the tubes at the front of the rack are often squeezed to death by passers-by, and often have holes in the aluminum as a result, so I'd recommend grabbing a tube from the back that's less likely to have holes in it.

The W&N colours the changed my life
Early this weekend I began my journey using oil colours by Winsor & Newton. I see why these are the best of the best, after drying the paintings stay shining and glowing. The quality is unbelievable. I've changed my life, and my collectors have seen the different as well. I've sold 4 paintings within the last month after using this brand. My go to colours at all times.

Great bound sketch books
The sketch books were exactly what I needed as I continue to draw and crate images to paint later as well as wrote down thoughts

My go-to paint store
I don’t have a Michael’s in my hometown of Fayetteville, AR, (hint hint), so it’s great to visit one when I travel out of town to pick up quality oil paints and supplies that aren’t carried by their competitor.
