Description

Winsor and Newton Drawing Inks have been used by illustrators since their introduction in the 1890s, where the main requirement was brilliance of colour. Today they are formulated from a series of soluble dyes in a superior shellac solution. These inks can be applied with brush, dip pen or airbrush and are widely used by designers, calligraphers and artists as well as illustrators. All colours in this line of drawing inks is fully intermixable, and they are easily diluted (with distilled water). Fast drying and water resistant, they have excellent adhesion on most surfaces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from inkwell and size = great for experiments/beginners Works well with watercolor to achieve fun effects. I appreciate the glass inkwell it comes in. I hope to re-use it. 14mL doesn't seem like a lot, but a little goes a VERY long way, so the price is fair. I recommend it for anyone wanting to play around with ink. I did some simple "bubble art" with dish soap that looks cool.
