Very thick thread
This yarn felt so soft in the store that I was really excited to start working on a blanket, but when I actually started using it I found that the thread holding the yearn together is so thick that the blanket came out feeling like fur-covered cardboard. It's very stiff and not very pliable, so not only is the texture really weird, it's much more difficult to work with than equivalent yarns from other brands.

Not Happy with the Changes
I have previously purchased the Loops and Threads fur yarn on multiple occasions, but it was hard to locate for a while. I used it as fur trim for a variety of crochet projects that I've sold. I was so excited to find it in stores again, only to get home and to realize it was completely different. The previous iteration I purchased in early 2020 was flexible and the string holding together wasn't too thick. This version feels as though it has a very thick cord/thread holding it together - it's a lot bulkier and harder to work with. When used in wearable projects, it's very unflexible and feels uncomfortable due to the increased thickness. I will be purchasing the Lion Brand equivalent instead.
