Inconsistent colour, tough to see stitches
I give it a 4* for softness, but a 2 overall. I used 5 skeins from the same lot # to crochet a blanket, but because the stitches are tough to pick out after I'd chained, I had to switch to a "v" stitch throughout. Also was quite dismayed by colour differences in the 5, even though I purposefully chose the same lot #. My daughter thinks it's character, but I like matchy-matchy, and was a little put off.

Bernat Toastie yarn
Love this yarn, knits easily. First time I used it I had a pattern that did not match with the texture of the knitted fabric, but I changed patterns and it was great. Currently knitting a second blanket with it.

lacked consistency
I recently used this yarn to knit an afghan. The first 3 skeins knit up just fine, but the fourth skein varied GREATLY in yarn thickness . At one point I felt like I was knitting with thread, rather than a 5-bulky rated yarn. The variegation was great and the yarn itself feels cushy and soft. However, Bernat needs to up their game when it comes to the quality control of the yarn thickness.

Interesting Yarn for FUN Projects
Bought this yarn in TAUPE while shopping with my sister. Used 1 ball to make her a scarf. Start chain of 23 with a cluster of 2 TC 1 CH 1 DC. Result is nice. It's lofty and lightweight. This colorway is subtle and turned out nice.

Soft and works up fast
I crocheted a blanket and it took 6 skeins and now I am going back for another skein to make the fringes. Great and soft yarn. It is a roving yarn and although the balls seem very large they really aren’t so if you intend to make an afghan or a blanket then get enough of that color the first time.
