It did feel a little rough while knitting and I wasn't sure how soft it would be. I finished my shawl and washed it and its so incredibly soft. I did buy a few balls of the vanilla (such a great colour) and I am going to make a baby blanket with the rest. I would recommend this yarn. I can't wait to buy more!
