Beautiful, Soft Yarn
Got some of this yarn to mix with Lion Brand One Pound in a corner to corner rug. It didn't mix well - too soft, and a little thinner than the worsted weight Lion Brand - but then I started a lap blanket with the extra yarn and I'm loving it! The stitch defintion and the feel of the yarn are far more like a good-quality cotton than acrylic, to the point where I had to check the label and see if it was actually a cotton blend.
The only thing is, I do recommend winding each color into a ball or a cake before you start - the bobbin can be difficult to pull neatly from. I didn't have much (if any) problem with splitting.

Nice yarn
I thought the yarn was nice. Yes it splits up a little, but it worked up nice. I do agree that the 3 separate yarns on one spool was challenging at times. But cute concept. I would love to buy more but not in stock in my store or online for shipping. So that's disappointing.

Plying to me
In my experience, this yarn is much better suited for crochet than knitting. It splits like nobodies business with knitting, but it does not seem to be near as bad when I am crocheting with it. It still does split mind you, just not as bad.

Lovely yarn!
I love the feel of this yarn and bought lots of it, it knits up quickly and although it is splitty, that didn't bother me much. I took off a star was because of the packaging - the spool did not work for me and once you use up one of the colors the rest of the spool becomes unstable. I would have preferred 3 separately balled colors.

So Soft!
I'm in the process of making a throw with the color Sand Dollar and I have to say I love this yarn so far. If you are considering purchasing it I will say it is not like other color striping yarns in that it is not all connected. Each color is separately attached to the bobbin which gives you the ability to mix and match the colors at your leisure.
Some other reviewers have mentioned that the yarn splits a lot. I personally have not had an issue with it but I can see how this can be an issue as the yarn is made of 6-8 individual strands that are not cohesively attached. However, if you go into it aware of this you can work around those issues.

Like it...dislike it!
I like the feel of this yarn - like a soft cotton. The colors combos are lovely. At first, I was disappointed that the colors were not continuous, but this is actually good. It allows me to determine where I want to make color changes. I dislike the looseness of the yarn's wrap. It does split too easily. I've ripped out several rows where I've missed a split. It creates a loop that looks messy, not to mention that it weakens the completed stitch.
