Quite happy with mine
I really did like this yarn overall. I would buy it again.
It was just the right thickness for some spring/summer shawls I wanted to make. And the colours are quite beautiful. I have both Medium Blue and Hot Orange in this yarn.
It's works up well, but every so often there is a little "knot" in it where two pieces seem to have been splayed together. With a bit of fuzz around it.
However it was very solidly attached and I felt just gently cutting off the surrounding "fuzz" was really all that was necessary.
That was the only thing for me, were it not for that I'd have given it 5 stars.

Not the original Astra
I have used Astra yarn for over 25 years. I was sad to see that the new Astra is not as soft as the original. It is also a slightly larger gauge when knitting on the same sized needles.

Overall good yarn
I ordered 2 colours, the white and the silver/gray mix. Absolutely loved the gray, I made 4 reasonably large dishcloths out of it, which is good for it being 50g. The white, however, is splitting like crazy and it’s very hard to knit with, so I’d stick to crochet with this yarn. I’m not sure if I just got a bad ball, but I loved the gray one, so overall I’d recommend this product!

Smaller than expected.
It feels nice but the skeins are smaller than I was expecting. I just received today so I will see how it goes.

Colours are perfect for what my granddaughters
I bought this for my teenage granddaughter who wants a baby pink sweater. I will ask her about the pattern when I see her next, but the colour and guage are perfect.
