HEED the warnings....
do NOT get blinded by the pretty sparkle! This vinyl is more difficult to weed than other varieties, but more frustrating is the fact that the vinyl does not adhere to the backing paper very well and does not adhere at all to the transfer paper so your pieces tend to just slide around. Don't even think about it for intricate cuts.

Beautiful color but faded in less than 24 hours. Still sparkly but no longer pink.

You can cut and weed it
I saw a lot of reviews saying it doesn't cut well and is difficult to weed. Yes, Shimmer vinyl settings don't do the job. I used Light Cardstock setting and I couldn't be happier. So easy to weed and transfer.

It doesn't cut all the way through
I used the Premium Vinyl Shimmer settings, because that's what this is and it didn't cut all the way through on my Cricut Maker. So I tried again, this time using the "more" pressure setting and it still didn't cut all the way through. So in the end I wasted the vinyl, and it was a waste of money.

Love working with the shimmer vinyl for my arabesque tile ornaments. No problem weeding and lays flat every time. Result is very sharp looking.

I really like this vinyl. Yes, it’s very hard to see to weed, however if you do it in fairly good lighting you can see the cut marks perfectly. You have to make sure you put it on glitter vinyl setting.

Makes a cute and creative touch to anything!!
I have seen multiple reviews on impossible to weed! Heads up to use the custom setting for this type of vinyl. Had problems before, but after choosing the right setting it works perfectly! love the look and feel of it!! I almost decorated everything in it!!

Make sure to use the correct seeting!
These shimmer vinyls are so pretty and sparkly! BUT, you absolutely have to use the "Premium Vinyl-Shimmer" setting or, like other reviewers have said, the cut is not deep enough and it will be impossible to weed your project. My first attempt I used the premium vinyl setting and it was like the vinyl wasn't even cut. On my second attempt, I went into the material settings and found the one specifically titled "Premium Vinyl-Shimmer", selected that one (as well as added a bit more pressure for good measure) and the end result was absolutely perfect! Weeded like butter and came out exactly how I wanted!
