Every colour is individually formulated to allow the unique character of each pigment to express itself – whether it’s naturally opaque, semi-opaque or transparent. Never too slippery, or too sticky. Delivers intense colour in the ideal consistency for a range of techniques. Even when you go in thick. Impasto and 3D applications dry without fracturing due to advanced acrylic technology which brings flexibility to the paint film.

I bought this after trying a few other yellow paints that weren't heavy bodied, and let me tell you, the coverage was not great. All of their colors in the heavy body line are incredible, great coverage and the large size goes a long way.

It’s a bit pricey but it’s a good paint for the painter or crafter that wants a professional look but with out shelling out the big bucks. You don’t have to use a lot for good coverage so a tube goes a long way and it stores well after being mixed. I bought It for a project, love it and now I can’t go back

Since then, I've created over 40 new works using primarily Liquitex Heavy Body paints. When starting a painting I use standard Liquitex colors, but change to heavy body once the painting is blocked in. It's essential to use heavy body to produce a professional work. The colors are vivid, the consistency is creamy, and the end result is pleasing. You can trust these colors to take your painting to the next level.
