Tastes like plastic
I've always liked Wilton products, so I overlooked the bad reviews regarding flavor and bought it anyway. Unfortunately I have to agree with them - the icing tastes bad (kind of like plastic). We will have to throw out all the cookies we decorated.

EXCELLENT!
I am reading all these horrible reviews and y’all are crazy! This icing is easy to use, tastes just like royal icing. No it’s not as good as homemade NOTHING EVER IS PEOPLE! But I use it every year. Funds are tight and time is very limited so it is great for busy moms. Even great for kids to decorate with! And some people are hard to please or just not satisfied unless they can complain.

Waste of money
I bought this in a pinch right before Christmas. I had run out of my homemade royal icing and wasn’t finished with my cookies. I couldn’t find meringue powder anywhere. So I bought 5 of these. It hardened pretty quickly with the ceiling fan on. But the taste was absolutely horrible!! I am pretty embarrassed to have given these to my neighbors. I thought that it might taste better after it hardened. Yuck! Will NEVER purchase this again!! Wasted $25. Threw out almost 100 cookies!!

This icing is disgusting!!!!! It smells like glue. I didn’t even taste it-can’t imagine what it tastes like. I would rate it a ZERO if I could. Yuck!!!

Really bad product
Whatever you do, do NOT waste your money or time on this product! Wilton should be ashamed to sell this as it doesn't work and tastes awful!

Horrible
Bought several of these in different colors to decorate with my grandchildren. What a horrible mistake. You have to heat them up to get them to even work half as well as they should. Even the. It’s just a runny mess. Plus the bottles are too hot for the kids to hold.

Great for little bakers
These wilton cookie icings were a great way for my grandchildren to decorate their special gingerbread cookies we made the day after thanksgiving. Very easy for them to use. Cookies looked great!
