Favourite for socks
My favourite sock yarn. It is more of a sport weight so it makes very squishy socks that knit up fast because i cast on only 52 stitches. They wear like a dream and wash so easily.
The yarn feels smooth and rustic at the same time. I would even consider making a garment with this fabulous yarn.

Knitted Socks
I've knitted socks with Paton's Kroy many times. Te socks knit up sturdy and the wool softens up with each washing. I use a US #3 needle and I cast on 56 stitches. Makes for a great pair of socks.

Patons Kroy sock yarn is a good, hardy choice. Although a bit on the thicker side for sock yarn any sock made with this yarn will last for years and years.
