Made with archival-quality, 100% cotton, this canvas is gesso primed so that you can start painting immediately. The medium/smooth texture surface is perfect for use with acrylic and oil paints, and the frame is professionally constructed. The medium-weight cotton duck is stretched around 3/4" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and held in place with a flexible spline, so artists can paint on all four edges.

Worth the higher price!
I love the level one canvases when painting for friends or to sell at a fair or comic con, but when I comes to my actual work I like to use a big canvas and that means it's got to be a little higher in quality. The price is higher but the quality of canvas and sturdy backing is MUCH higher and worth it.

The Level 2 Gallery Wrapped Traditional Canvas is a professional quality finished canvas. I like the back finish that gives a great finished look. I use this in many different sizes and the price is great. I also buy the pro pack that’s at a price you can’t beat. The price helps when Artist are selling their work to make a better profit margin. I recommend these to all my artists friends.
