The medium/smooth texture surface is perfect for use with acrylic and oil paints, and the frame is professionally constructed. The medium-weight cotton duck is stretched around 3/4" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and held in place with a flexible spline, so artists can paint on all four edges.

Affordable painting canvas
Primed canvas stretched over wooden bars, reinforced by another wooden frame or spline. Canvas stays square and flat, however I always check for warpage prior to purchasing. I would like the outer plastic wrap to be plant-based material. Various sizes are generally available. I appreciate the quality especially on a mass produced item.
