After getting it home, and setting up in my studio, I unscrewed the cap and squeezed a portion onto my palette. Yes, it is really oily paint, and gives the impression that it is oil paint when you paint it onto a canvas. Yes, this oil paint looks, smells and acts like oil paint, and that is precisely why I purchased it. Color me satisfied!

The Michael's staff is very knowledgeable and have been incredibly helpful everytime I visit. I will continue to support this brand and Michael's will always get my business.
