Too slippery for me
I guess I just prefer bamboo for DPNs, but these will do the trick and are affordable. I do wish they had the size marked on them. The next size up is a different shade of blue, and I can't remember which is the 4 and which is the 5.

Decent needles for beginners
The needles are pretty decent for a beginner. The finish on them provides a bit of resistance but not as much as bamboo needles, if that’s what you’re looking for. They were a bit damaged at the tips but it didn’t effect my knitting at all, just the aesthetics. I think they’re suitable for someone who’s just getting into knitting and doesn’t want to splurge too much on a side hobby.

Excellent needles !
These are an excellent choice for DPNs.
Nice and smooth with a great tip, not too pointy and not too blunt. Very comfortable to use.
Plus the purple colour makes it easy to keep track of the size when you have the matching circular needles as well.

Won't Split Like Wood!
I had originally purchased wooden DPN's however when using more rustic untreated natural yarns like wool... it took the finish right off my wooden needles and split them!!! These are a great and move much more quickly.

Loops and thread double pointed needles
Some of the tips were scratchy and not smooth. Unfortunately I needed it right away or I would have returned them. I was able to use 3 and turn the 4th around.
