Dye worked perfectly to hide gray stains!
I had a red-and-white striped Breton shirt that, unfortunately, had been splattered with something that left blue-grey speckles all over the front. I've tried in vain to get the stain out, to no avail. Rather than toss the shirt since it's a heavy weight 100% cotton, I thought I would try this shade to dye it to see if the dye would hide the stains - AND IT DID! Of course, it also darkened the red, so it's honestly like a completely new and different shirt. But I'm so glad I tried this as it extended the life of my shirt. I followed the stove top method, adding 1 cup of salt and 1 tsp. of dish soap, and letting the garment sit in the dye bath (while stirring) for 15 minutes to achieve the shade I wanted.

Protect your future laundry loads
Well, I followed the instructions and nothing really changed.... except that the white sweater I washed in a subsequent load turned grey because the dye seeped out of my black (dyed) sweater. Not cool, Rit. Also, the text on the box that says "this will likely not work on bleach spots" was practically microscopic, and I missed it, so this was a bust all around. Bummer.

Worked great
Strong dye. Not super even result, but that was more my fault. Would buy again. Stuck well to wool
