cross bar interference
Applying pressure while painting over the areas where the crossbars are causes the brush to catch on the cross bars and it affects how the paint is applied. Only a very light touch avoids this issue.

Everyone Can be an Artist
The quality of this product is so good and the price cannot be beat. Inexpensive enough that I buy them for my grandchilren and it does get their imagination going to put something on canvas. I always buy some of these when they go on sale.
