Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Paint, Great Value I'm a big fan of Folk Art paint. It's heavily pigmented and water-based, and covers well. This particular color, Wrought Iron, is a very, very dark grey that is nearly black, but not quite. It will work well for my project.

The colors are bright and, while they have all the basics, there are new colors added all the time that keep me checking the paint aisle. This particular color, Saffron, is just the right color I was looking for for my project.

I don’t love investing in the high artist quality paints because I want TONS of color options when I’m painting and depending on the size of the canvas, I don’t want to spend too much. This is a great option for people getting into painting or your average artist looking for a cheaper alternative to studio quality paints that are very expensive! 10/10 recommend!
