Step 1

Step 1 First, melt some beeswax in a melting pot and use a paintbrush to apply the wax onto the surface of your shadow box. 
TIP: Apply 3-4 coats of the melted beeswax, there needs to be enough wax to securely hold the bead but not so much wax that the bead gets fully submerged in the wax. If you put too much wax on, scrape it off and try again. 

Step 2

Step 2 Start beading with a “geometric freestyle” design.

Step 3

Step 3 Apply some heat with the heat gun to soften up the wax as needed. 
TIP: Be careful not to overheat the wax, you want to soften the wax not completely liquify the wax. Start from the middle and work out towards the edge.
