sweetshop™ thanksgiving cupcakes
Step 1 |
Ice cupcakes with a 1A decorating tip and chocolate buttercream icing. |
Step 2 |
Open your orange fondant and knead it until it is soft and pliable. Once soft, break off a small portion of fondant about the size of a quarter and roll it into a ball. Take a butter knife and use the blunt edge to create long lines around the ball vertically to mimic the look of the lines of a pumpkin. |
Step 3 |
Open your light green fondant and make your stem. To do this, first knead the fondant until it is soft and pliable, then rip off a small piece about the size of a dime. Roll this piece into a short log and cut this log in half. Place this in the top, middle of your pumpkin. |
Step 4 |
Time to make your vine! Rip off another even smaller piece of your light green fondant and roll another small log. This time, make your log longer and thinner; then create a little loop. Trim the ends of your vine with a knife if needed, then place on top of your pumpkin and connect to the base of your stem. |
Step 5 |
Place your cute little pumpkin on top of a cupcake. |
Step 6 |
Repeat Steps 2 - 4 as many times for as make pumpkin you would like on your cupcakes. |
