poinsettia kissing ball
Step 1 |
Cut apart the poinsettia bushes with a floral wire cutter. Leave a short stem that can be pushed into your foam ball. |
Step 2 |
Wrap a piece of string around the ball in both directions to make four sections. Pin them in place to use as a guide to keep your flowers straight when placing them in the ball. |
Step 3 |
Add a dab of hot glue to the short stem on a floral heads that came in the package pre-cut and push into your foam ball. Add the cut bush poinsettia blooms so you have a combination of both types. Work one section at a time. Continue adding until the ball is full. |
Step 4 |
Remove the string and discard. |
Step 5 |
Finally, add a ribbon for hanging. Cut the ribbon to size and establish the top of your ball. Use a floral T-pin and hot glue to hold it in place. |
