Step 1

MEASUREMENTS: Approx 14" [35.5 cm] diameter, excluding pom-poms.
GAUGE: 12 dc and 6.5 rows = 4” [10 cm]
NOTES:
- Ch 3 at beg of rnd counts as dc throughout.
- Join all rnds with sl st to top of ch-3.

Step 2

INSTRUCTIONS:
Front and Back (Make 2)
Ch 4.
1st Rnd: 11 dc in 4th ch from hook. Join with sl st to top of ch-3. 12 dc.
2nd Rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. 2 dc in each of next 10 dc. Join. 24 dc.
3rd Rnd: Ch 3. 2 in next dc. *1 dc in next dc. 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * around. Join. 36 dc.
4th Rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. 1 dc in each of next 2 dc. *2 dc in next dc. 1 dc in each of next dc. Rep from * around. Join. 48 dc.
5th Rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in each of next 2 dc. 2 dc in next dc. *1 dc in each of next 3 dc. 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * around. Join. 60 dc.
6th Rnd: ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. 1 dc in each of next 4 dc. *2 dc in next dc. 1 dc in each of next 4 dc. Rep from * around. Join. 72 dc.
7th Rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in each of next 4 dc. 2 dc in next dc. *1 dc in each of next 5 dc. 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * around. Join. 84 dc.
8th Rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. 1 dc in each of next 6 dc. *2 dc in next dc. 1 dc in each of next 6 dc. Rep from * around. Join. 96 dc.
9th Rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in each of next 6 dc. 2 dc in next dc. *1 dc in each of next 7 dc. 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * around. Join. 108 dc.
10th Rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. *2 dc in next dc. 1 dc in each of next 8 dc. Rep from * around. Join. 120 dc.
11th Rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in each of next 8 dc. 2 dc in next dc. *1 dc in each of next 9 dc. 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * around. Join. 132 dc.
12th Rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in each dc around. Join.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Joining Front and Back: With WS of front and back facing each other and final rnds aligned, join yarn with sl st through both thicknesses to any dc. Ch 1. Working through both thicknesses, work 1 sc in each dc around, inserting pillow form as you work. Join with sl st to first sc. 132 sc. Fasten off.
Pom-Poms (make 22): Wind yarn around 2" [5 cm] cardboard approx 90 times. Tie yarn tightly in the middle and leave long ends for attaching to pillow. Cut loops at both ends and trim to smooth round shape. Sew pom-poms evenly around pillow edge (as shown in photo).
