parts of a flower classroom poster
Step 1 |
Cut the foam board down to 18" wide x 30" tall [45.7 cm x 76.2 cm] using a straight edge and an X-ACTO® knife. |
Step 2 |
Cut the brown foam down to 12" wide x 6" tall [30.5 cm x 15.2 cm] and glue along the bottom of the board for "soil". |
Step 3 |
Create your "parts of a flower" layout by starting with the flower shape. Glue it into place. |
Step 4 |
Glue a green chenille pipe cleaner from the bottom of the flower to the soil. |
Step 5 |
Now, using the adhesive backed foam, cut out a sun with rays, a cloud, water drops and leaves. |
Step 6 |
Use foam letters to spell out each flower part. Peel and stick into place. |
Step 7 |
Use a black Sharpie® marker to draw roots from the bottom of the stem onto the brown foam/soil. |
