Step 1

Fold a piece of cardstock in half.

Step 2

Use letter stickers (or markers) to write your message, then decorate with foam stickers. Use the glitter glue to write #1. Let dry.

Step 3

Click here to download and print the template; then cut out the pattern for the dimensional shape inside your card.

Step 4

Trace the pattern onto assorted construction papers.

Step 5

Cut out the shapes and set the shape halves aside.

Step 6

Glue the full-size shapes back to back. Set aside to dry.

Step 7

Glue the front half of the shape to one side of the fold inside your card and the other half to the other side of the fold.

Step 8

Now, glue the connected hearts to the fold and half shapes (attached is Step 7).

Step 9

Close your card and press the fold to make sure everything is adhered. Now open the card and “fluff” the shapes.
TIP: If desired, make an envelope using construction paper.
