fimo® soft christmas ball ornament
Step 1 |
Shape kitchen foil into an even ball and compress it with circular hand movements. |
Step 2 |
Cut off four portions of Pacific Blue soft clay with your straight blade. Knead the clay with your hands until mouldable, then roll it into a sheet about 0.19" [0.5 cm] thick using an acrylic roller. |
Step 3 |
Cover the foil ball with the clay sheet and use the modelling tool to smooth the seams. |
Step 4 |
Cut off one portion of peach effect clay with your straight blade. Knead with your hands until mouldable, then roll it into a sheet about 0.39" [1 cm] thick using an acrylic roller. Place a layer of Gold flakes on the sheet, roll over it carefully with the acrylic roller. |
Step 5 |
Cut out various letters, such as "HO", with cutters. Pick up the letters with your blade, place them on the ball and press down gently. |
Step 6 |
Make a little crown from the rest of the peach clay and add to the top. Push an ornament hanger into the crown. |
Step 7 |
Place your bauble on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and harden in the oven for 30 minutes at 230°F [110°C]. |
