Protect your work surface with a table cover. |
| Step 2 |
Using painter’s tape, lay down and create outline of various geometric shape on to each of the three canvases. Be sure to securely press down the tape to prevent paint from bleeding underneath. |
| Step 3 |
Starting with the Cadmium Free Orange Acrylic Gouache, use a brush to paint in several of the geometric shapes created with the tape lines. Space out the colour used across all three canvases. Continue to do this with the rest of the acrylic Gouache colours: Iridescent Bright Silver, Light Pink, Bright Aqua Green, Cadmium Free Red, Burnt Sienna. Avoid painting any two neighbouring shapes with the same colour. Allow to dry for 2 hours. |

Slowly and gently remove each line of tape. |
| Step 5 |
OPTIONAL: Lastly, attach hinges to connect the three canvases. Determine the order in which the canvases will be displayed. Then, on the inside edges of the left and right canvases, use a tape measure and mark with a pencil 2" [5.1 cm] down from the top and 2" [5.1 cm] up from the bottom. Do the same on both sides of the canvas to be used in the centre. This is where the hinges will be placed. Next, attach all four hinges where the pencil lines have been marked, be sure to hold the canvases upright to test that they are level and all three canvases stand up evenly. |
