glittery heart valentine's day card
Step 1 |
First, click here to download the cutting, scoring and folding diagram. |
Step 2 |
Cut the red cardstock 12" [30.48 cm] x 5½" [13.97 cm], then score across every 4" [10.16 cm] so you have three sections. |
Step 3 |
Now, measure up 1½" [3.81 cm] from the bottom on the left edge and make a mark. Use your XACTO® knife to cut a diagonal from this point to the fold between the second and third panel. Now fold the card in a zig zag so the lowest part of the cut is the front of the card. |
Step 4 |
Choose and cut cardstock to fit each panel leaving an 1/8" [.32 cm] border all the way around each piece and adhere to the card using a tape runner. |
Step 5 |
Attach a red glitter heart to the first panel. |
Step 6 |
When the card is filled out and signed, wrap twine around the card several times and tie a bow. |
