Step 1

First, sand any rough areas on the wood crate lightly and wipe clean with a cloth.

Step 2

Wear gloves to apply a coat of stain with a foam brush. Let the stain dry for one hour.

Step 3

Wrap cable knit ribbon around the crate and use hot glue to adhere.

Step 4

Place a wood letter over the ribbon and use hot glue to attach.
