Print Project

matte lapis stone long necklace
Step 1 |
Unravel the silk cord from its card. |
Step 2 |
Tie the end (without needle) of the cord onto one of the jump rings on your open hammered connector. Add a dab of glue to the knot and let dry. |
Step 3 |
Thread beads onto cord as desired. |
Step 4 |
Create your pendant. Slide flat faceted sapphire bead onto a headpin. Bend the wire of the headpin in a 90° angle just above the bead. Grasp the wire, about 3/8"-½" [0.3 cm-1.3 cm] from the bend, between the jaws of your round nose pliers. Rotate the pliers toward you, keeping a firm grip on the wire, until a small loop is formed. Trim excess wire. |
Step 5 |
Attach the sapphire bead to the bottom of a solid hammered connector with the jump ring. |
Step 6 |
Add to the middle of your necklace with the jump ring at the top of the connector. |
