Step 1

Wrap an empty tissue box with red and white dot scrapbook paper and glue (or tape) it into place.

Step 2

Measure the opening on the tissue box for your monster's mouth, then cut two strips of white cardstock that width x about 1" [2.54 cm]. Now, cut teeth from the white strips by cutting a zigzag pattern horizontally across the strips. Glue the teeth to the inside of the opening.
TIP: Use image as a guide.

Step 3

Cut two strips of red cardstock the length of the opening to make lips. Glue them to the box, above and below the teeth.

Step 4

If desired, cut a tongue out of red cardstock and glue to the inside of the opening, with the tongue sticking out of the opening.

Step 5

Wrap the smaller box in the remaining red and white dot scrapbook paper, then glue it to the top, middle of the box. Be sure to line up the front edges.

Step 6

Glue large wiggle eyes to the front of the smaller box.

Step 7

Poke chenille pipe cleaners into the smaller box, then add wiggle eyes and hearts to the ends for antennae.
