Step 1

Paint the wood plaque solid using French Wine paint. Let dry and add additional coats if desired.

Step 2

Click here to download and print the template.

Step 3

Position the printout on the board and tape it at the top. Slide a piece of transfer paper under the template with the graphite side facing the board. Add more tape to secure so that it won't slide around while you are tracing over your letters.

Step 4

Use a pencil (or pen) to trace the letters.
TIP: Be sure to press firmly. The graphite on the transfer paper will transfer the word to the board.

Step 5

Using a white paint pen, trace the transferred pattern, then fill in the open areas. Let dry.
