teacher foam flower wreath
Step 1 |
ADULT: Lay two pieces of yellow construction paper together overlapping the long edge slightly to make one large area. Lay the wood wreath on top of the paper and trace around the edges, copying the shape of the wreath. Set the wood wreath aside. |
Step 2 |
Cut out the paper wreath shape and glue the edges together for the base of your wreath. |
Step 3 |
Remove the paper backing from the floral foam stickers and place them around the wreath. Overlap and mix as desired. |
Step 4 |
Add green leaves by using your fingertips to paint them around the wreath. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
Cut out a heart and write your teachers name in the centre. |
Step 6 |
Add ribbon to each arch of the heart on either side of the back of your heart to hang your paper heart across the centre. |
Step 7 |
ADULT: Glue the child’s paper wreath to the back of the wood base to help hold the structure. |
Step 8 |
ADULT: Use a dab of hot glue to attach the ribbon to the back of the wreath and the paper heart allowing it to hang in the centre. Also, cut a piece of the ribbon and make a small hanger for the top of the wreath. Glue the ends to the back. |
