Step 1

Water-down paint and apply it to the frame, avoiding the heart, so the woodgrain to show.

Step 2

Apply a coat of paint (bot watered-down) to the base. Let dry.

Step 3

Paint the heart red. Let dry.

Step 4

Cut a piece of cardstock that will cover the cut-out area on the frame.

Step 5

Use adhesive tape to attach the cardstock on the back of the frame.
