bunny cookie pops
Step 1 |
Step 1 Melt 2 oz. Bright White and Pink candy, separately, according to package instructions. Reserve remaining white candy. |
Step 2 |
Step 2 Prepare two decorating bags, separately, with melted white and pink candy. |
Step 3 |
Step 3 Cover a cake board with wax paper and secure with tape (on the back) and pipe bunny ears directly on the wax paper. Start with pink candy, piping line about 1½" tall, then pipe white outline around pink line. Make two ears per cookie pop. |
Step 4 |
Step 4 Chill the bunny ears until set (about 5 to 10 minutes), then carefully peel them from the wax paper. Set aside. |
Step 5 |
Step 5 Insert the tip of a treat stick into remaining melted candy, then into middle of cookie. Repeat with remaining treats. Let set, about 15 to 20 minutes. |
Step 6 |
Step 6 Melt the remaining Bright White candy according to package instructions. Dip cookies into melted candy. Tap lightly on edge to remove excess. |
Step 7 |
Step 7 Transfer to waxed paper-covered board and immediately insert bunny ears. Chill until set (about 10 to 15 minutes). |
Step 8 |
Step 8 Using a black FoodWriter® edible marker, draw the face on each bunny cookie. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
