Step 1
Paint two craft sticks and let dry.
Step 2
ADULT: Lay two of the sticks in an "X" and add a small dot of hot glue to hold them together.
Step 3
To begin weaving the yarn around the sticks, tie one end of the yarn around the centre of the "X". Now, weave your yarn around the “X” working it over and under the craft sticks.
Step 4
When you are done wrapping, tie the yarn in a knot and then trim the ends close.
Step 5
Wrap a chenille pipe cleaner around the centre of the wings to make a body.
Step 6
Now, thread a wood bead over the chenille pipe cleaners on the top and 2-3 pony beads over the bottom. Bend the chenille pipe cleaners at the top to make antenna.
