Step 1

Trace the template (included with the keychains) that correlates to the shape of your chosen keychain onto mixed media paper.

Step 2

Draw and colour your design; then cut out the shape.

Step 3

Insert the artwork into the plastic keychain shape and snap the back in place.

Step 4

Make a tassel by wrapping yarn around your hand about 20 times. Slide the loops off your hand and tie another piece of yarn (about 6" [15.2 cm] long) through the loops. Grasp the loops together in one hand, wrap another 6" [15.2 cm] piece of yarn around the outside of the loops (just below the top of the tassel) and tie a knot.

Step 5

Trim off the extra yarn and tie the tassel onto the keychain piece to complete your backpack dangle.
