Step 1 |
Use a ruler (or yard stick) to draw a long triangle shape onto a cork foam board. |
Step 2 |
Lay the foam board on a self-healing mat and cut along the lines with a X-ACTO® knife. |
Step 3 |
Cut a small tree trunk shape from the excess cork foam board. |
Step 4 |
Trace circle shaped objects from your house (such as a cup or coaster) onto white paper and cut out the shapes. |
Step 5 |
Use hot glue to attach white circles to tree shaped board. |
Step 6 |
Attach clothespins on the board, evenly spaced or randomly, using hot glue. |
Step 7 |
Attach the trunk to the bottom of the tree with hot glue. |
Step 8 |
Trim the outer edges of your tree with ribbon; then use hot glue to attach. |
Step 9 |
