Step 1

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 40" [102 cm] x 48" [122 cm].
GAUGE: 9 sts x 12 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Single Crochet; save time and check your gauge.
PATTERN NOTES:
- Blanket is worked entirely from the right side, cutting and rejoining the yarn on each row. You will not turn your work. Cut ends will be tied as fringe to eliminate ends to weave in.
- Rows are worked in single crochet through the back loop only, with a treble crochet worked in the front loop of the 3rd row down, every 5th stitch. When you work a treble crochet, you will skip the next sc in the row, and then continue working in the following sc.

Step 2

INSTRUCTIONS:
Stripe Sequence: *3 rows Dragonfly, 3 rows Black Raspberry, 3 rows Northern Lights, 3 rows Cherry Blossom, 3 rows Bright Pop; repeat from * to end of blanket.
With Dragonfly, ch 121, leaving an 8” [20 cm] tail at beginning of chain.
Setup Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hook sc in each ch across, do not turn – 120 sc. Fasten off leaving an 8” [20 cm] tail.
Setup Row 2 (RS): Join Dragonfly at beginning of RS row, leaving an 8” tail, ch 1, sc in back loop only in each sc across, do not turn. Fasten off leaving an 8” tail.
Repeat Setup Row 2 once more.
Begin Treble Crochet Pattern.
Note: Continue to work in Stripe Sequence, starting with 3 rows of Black Raspberry. Continue to leave an 8” [20 cm] tail at the beginning and end of every row.
Row 1: Join yarn at beginning of RS row, leaving 8” [20 cm] tail, ch 1, *sc in back loop only of next 4 sts, tr in sc 3 rows below into the unworked front loop; rep from * across. Fasten off leaving an 8” (20 cm) tail.
Row 2: Join yarn at beginning of RS row, leaving 8” [20 cm] tail, ch 1, * tr in sc 3 rows below into the unworked front loop, sc in back loop only of next 4 sts; rep from * across. Fasten off leaving an 8”(20 cm) tail.
Row 3: Join yarn at beginning of RS row, leaving 8” [20 cm] tail, ch 1, * sc in back loop only of next st, tr in sc 3 rows below into the unworked front loop, sc in back loop only of next 3 sts; rep from * across. Fasten off leaving an 8” [20 cm] tail.
Row 4: Join yarn at beginning of RS row, leaving 8” [20 cm] tail, ch 1, * sc in back loop only of next 2 sts, tr in sc 3 rows below into the unworked front loop, sc in back loop only of next 2 sts; rep from * across. Fasten off leaving an 8” [20cm] tail.
Row 5: Join yarn at beginning of RS row, leaving 8” [20 cm] tail, ch 1, * sc in back loop only of next 3 sts, tr in sc 3 rows below into the unworked front loop, sc in back loop only of next st; rep from * across. Fasten off leaving an 8” [20cm] tail.
Repeat Rows 1-5, until blanket measures approx. 48” [122 cm], ending with the 3rd row of any colour.
Finishing:
Tie each group of 3 same colour ends into an overhand knot along both fringed edges. Trim even.
