Step 1

FINISHED MEASUREMENT: Approx 20” [51 cm] square, excluding fringe

GAUGE: 8 sts and 13 rows = 4” [10 cm] in stocking st. Take time to check your gauge.


INSTRUCTIONS: Front and Back (Make Alike)

Cast on 73 sts.

Row 1: (RS). K1. *Skip first st. K1tbl second st. Do not slip off needle. Knit first st. Slip both sts off needle. Rep from * to end of row.

Row 2: P1. *Skip first st. Purl second st. Do not slip off needle. Purl first st. Slip both sts off needle. Rep from * to end of row.

Rep last 2 rows for Wicker St Pat until work from beg measures 20” [51 cm], ending on a WS row. Cast off.

FINISHING: With crochet hook and WS facing each other, join Front and Back tog along 3 sides with single crochet, working 3 single crochet in each corner. Insert pillow form and join last side closed. Do not fasten off.

Twisted Fringe: Chain 1. *Draw up a loop 8" [20.5 cm] long. Twist loop 30 times. Slip stitch back into same st, allowing twisted loop to coil around itself. Slip stitch into next st. Rep from * around pillow. Fasten off.
