spooky halloween classroom door décor
Step 1 |
First, use your the Cricut® Maker to cut out all your pieces for the board. Click here for the design; then, use an adhesive tape roller to assemble the banner and character layers. |
Step 2 |
Cover your classroom door with the fadeless yellow paper. |
Step 3 |
Cut the 4" [10.16 cm] purple ribbon into four equal pieces, tape (or glue) into place to create the vertical purple stripes. Use the lavender ribbon to edge each side of the purple stipes to create the accent pinstripe. |
Step 4 |
Adhere three 12" x 12" [30.48 cm x 30.48 cm] pieces of the green cardstock, alternating lime green and Kelly green, to the bottom of door. |
Step 5 |
From black cardstock, cut and adhere the 4" x 4" [10.16 cm x 10.16 cm] squares in a checker pattern over the green cardstock. |
Step 6 |
Using a pencil, freehand draw a large ghost shape onto the white poster board and cut it out. Adhere a pair of wiggle eyes and a mouth to the ghost, then attach your ghost to your door. |
Step 7 |
Now, adhere the moon and bats towards the top centre of the door, then adhere the pumpkins towards bottom of door into place. |
Step 8 |
Once all characters are in desired places, centre the banner and hang across the door. Use the spider characters to cover the ends of the banner as if each spider is holding the banner into place. |
