Print Project

september makebreak: fall initial wreath
Step 1 |
Cut four to five pieces of the burlap ribbon about 10"-12" long and fold in half. Twist a small piece of chenille pipe cleaner around the bottom of each "loop". |
Step 2 |
Lay the grapevine wreath flat on your work surface. Position the loops on the bottom of the wreath, but don't glue on yet. These burlap loops will serve as a background for the floral pieces that will go on top. |
Step 3 |
Cut the floral pieces you will want to add to the wreath down as needed for your arrangement. Lay the pieces in place until you are happy with the layout. Lay the letter in place to make sure it works in your arrangement. |
Step 4 |
Paint the wood letter with Antique Gold metallic paint and let dry. |
Step 5 |
Spread glue onto the letter and sprinkle generously with Gold glitter. Set aside to dry. |
Step 6 |
Hot glue everything into place. You can add additional leaves or other floral pieces to fill in any gaps, if needed.
