Step 1

MEASUREMENTS: Approx 18" x 75" [45.5 cm x 190.5 cm], excluding fringe.
GAUGE: 14 sts and 28 rows = 4" [10 cm] in garter st, take time to check your gauge.
SPECIAL STITCHES:
- Kfb = Increase 1 stitch by knitting into front and back loops of next stitch.

Step 2

INSTRUCTIONS:
Cast on 3 sts.
Increase rows:
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: Kfb. Knit to last st. Kfb
Rep Rows 1 and 2 until work along edge measures 18” [45.5 cm], ending on Row 2.
Centre Section:
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: K2tog. Knit to last st. Kfb.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 until work across longest edge measures 75” [190.5 cm], ending on Row 2.
Decrease rows:
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: K2tog. Knit to last 2 sts. K2tog.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 until 3 sts rem.
Next Row: Knit.
Next Row: K3tog.
Fasten off.
Fringe: Cut strands of yarn 14" [35.5 cm] long. Taking 4 strands tog, fold in half and knot into fringe across both ends of Scarf. Trim fringe evenly.
