Step 1

First, click here to download and print the template; then cut out the hat pattern.

Step 2

Trace the hat onto red construction paper and cut out. Set aside.

Step 3

Measure 1½" [3.8 cm] down from one end of a jumbo craft stick and make a mark. Paint the remaining 4½" [10.2 cm] of the craft stick with red craft paint. Let dry.
TIP: Leave the 1½" [3.8 cm] at the top unpainted, as this will be Santa's face.

Step 4

Glue the paper hat to the top of the craft stick. Glue a white pom-pom to the tip at the top of the hat. Glue three white pom-poms in place for his beard. Glue two wiggle eyes above the beard. Let dry.

Step 5

Draw a belt and two buttons on the red-painted portion of the craft stick below the beard, using a black marker.

Instructions
Step 1
