canadian maple leaf hat
Step 1 |
Cut a hat shape from construction paper. |
Step 2 |
Click here to download and print the template; then cut out the maple leaf pattern. |
Step 3 |
Trace the maple leaf onto red construction paper and cut out. Glue to the centre of your hat. |
Step 4 |
Outline leaf with red glitter glue and let dry. |
Step 5 |
Cut 2 pieces of brown construction paper 2" [5.08 cm] wide by 12" [30.48 cm] for a strap. |
Step 6 |
Glue the 2 pieces together to create one long 2" [5.08 cm] strip. Wrap around head to measure size and then glue ends together to create the strap. Trim excess paper. |
Step 7 |
Glue strap to the back of the hat. Let dry. |
