Minimalist Lighted Wreath
Add a breath of fresh air to your décor with this simple spring wreath. It’s got a modern mix of greenery and white lights, sweetened by a few white blossoms. Best of all, it’s a breeze to make – you’ll have it all done in about 30 minutes.
Étape 1 |
Start out by putting the AA batteries into the lights’ battery pack. Turn on the lights and leave them on as you build your wreath. |
Étape 2 |
Wrap the strand of lights around the metal hoop, beginning with the bottom. As you work, position the battery pack at the bottom of the wreath, then wrap it with wire to hold it in place. TIP: As you wire the battery pack onto the hoop, make sure not to cover up its on/off switch! (We hate when that happens.) |
Étape 3 |
Now, wrap the greenery garland around the metal hoop as well. As you wrap, use wire to hold the greenery in place. |
Étape 4 |
Next, use your wire cutters to cut the floral bush into separate stems. Trim down each stem and arrange the flowers at the bottom of the wreath, so that they’re covering up the battery pack. You can follow our photo as a guide, or create your own arrangement! |
Étape 5 |
All that’s left for you to do is to wire the flowers to the wreath. For a little extra hold, use a dab of hot glue as needed. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
