Light Pink Rose Hoop Bouquet
Looking for a bouquet that’s a little different from all the rest? This one’s minimal and modern, combining a natural wood with soft florals.
Étape 1 |
Lay the metal hoop on a table and position a piece of 12" x 9" felt horizontally under the bottom curve. Fold the felt in half with the metal hoop inside the fold. Use a pencil to draw the shape of a crescent along the hoop. TIP: This felt piece will provide a base to glue flowers. |
Étape 2 |
Open the felt fold and set the hoop aside. Re-fold the felt and cut out the crescent shape. |
Étape 3 |
Place the hoop back between layers of the felt crescent and hot glue the felt closed over the hoop both along the hoop and the straight edge. |
Étape 4 |
Cut the stems off of the rose bush with wire cutters. |
Étape 5 |
Lay out a plan of how you want your hoop bouquet to look. Establish where the larger roses will be placed. TIP: Before you hot glue the roses to the felt you will need to trim them to the end of the flower where the stem meets the blossom. |
Étape 6 |
Hot glue the larger rose blossoms in place. Fill in the areas around them with the smaller rose blossoms and buds. TIP: It is fine if the flowers sit at different angles. This is what makes the arrangement look more natural. |
Étape 7 |
To finish the hoop bouquet, fill in with the Baby’s Breath and greenery around the edges. Cut Baby’s Breath in sections, add a little hot glue on the ends and push it into the arrangement where you see there is a hole exposing the felt. TIP: Fill in arrangement until no felt is exposed.
