Collier lariat en cuir et perles en bois sarcelle
Étape 1 |
Unwind the brown leather from the card. |
Étape 2 |
Measure and cut four 13" [33 cm] pieces from one end. |
Étape 3 |
Make your two tassels by adding two of the leather pieces to a metal frame bead with a lark’s head knot. Set one tassel aside. |
Étape 4 |
Tie one end of the remaining long leather strip to the top of the metal frame bead on your tassel. Allow about 2"-3" [5.1 cm-7.6 m] of the excess leather on the end after the lark’s head knot is tied. |
Étape 5 |
Add a wood bead from the other end and slide down to sit on top of the lark’s head knot. Thread the short end of the leather through the bead and tie an overhand knot. Cut excess leather piece so it is flush with the knot. |
Étape 6 |
For the opposite end, add eight beads in the opposite pattern as the beads on the first end. |
Étape 7 |
Attach the second tassel to the end with a lark’s head knot as you did the first end. |
Étape 8 |
Working back up the leather, slide the last bead added down to sit on top of the lark’s head knot. Tie an overhand knot above the bead. |
Étape 9 |
Add more wood beads from the other end and slide down so they sit on top of the last knot. Tie an overhand knot above the last bead. Cut excess leather piece so it is flush with the knot. |
Étape 10 |
Slide the seven beads down so they are siting on top of the knot and tie an overhand knot above the top bead. |
Étape 11 |
Finally, fold your long leather piece in half, then adjust so the tassels are uneven. Add a larger, round metal bead at the fold with a lark’s head knot to complete your lariat necklace. |
