yarn monster
Step 1 |
Begin with one chenille pipe cleaner. Shape it into a circle and twist together about 2" [5 cm] from the ends. Set aside. |
Step 2 |
Wrap some yarn around your hand, about 20 times, and slide off. Hold the loops in your hand and thread a small piece of yarn through the loops and tie a knot. Now cut open the loops on the opposite end. |
Step 3 |
Place the yarn (where you tied it together) between the ends of the chenille pipe cleaner and twist together to hold the yarn in place. |
Step 4 |
Now, bend the chenille pipe cleaner under the yarn so that your yarn monster will stand on its own. |
Step 5 |
Finally, curl the ends of the chenille pipe cleaners and glue a wiggle eye in the centre of each. Let dry. |
