Love these wooden plaques!
I bought one of these for I believe 5-6 bucks. I got the round one for my son's nursery. We're doing a nautical theme so I spray painted it grey, and used Folk-Art navy blue chalk paint to stencil on the letters "NO WAKE ZONE". It turned out so good, and was so simple! One of my favorite pieces of decor in his room now. I didn't have to sand it since I was spray painting it, however, I noticed in store that some were a little more rough-edged than others. Definitely would recommend to others!

Simple project goes a long way
Takes 2 coats to cover completely or go with just 1 for a lighter vintage coverage look. Ready to hang makes it convenient. I turned this into a vintage baseball and hung it in my little boys room.

JUST WHAT I WANTED!
I'm redecorating my home in a rustic theme, and stained the plaque and also bought precursor wooden words and spray painted them and glued them to the plaque and hung it on my front door. I've gotten plenty of compliments, (even from strangers). It came out better then I expected.

I'll make it cute!
I got this on clearance. When I got it home to paint I realized why, a board was crooked. I'll just add a bow or flower there to cover up the major gap between the boards! It was worth the couple of bucks I paid!

Nice shape, poor quality
The wood is a very cheap quality, and would likely need to be sanded to be used as it isn't at all. I actually ended up returning them as they just needed too much prep work to be useable. Even after digging through the entire rack of them, I only found 3 decent ones that were still pretty bad quality.

Perfect Welcome Sign
