You're new to the skills necessary to complete this project, or maybe you've tried them just once or twice before.

Who's the most famous reindeer of all? Well, you decide by creating your own design on this completely customizable Nutcracker reindeer. Whether your holiday decorations are red and white or pink and purple, the choice is yours with how you bring these whimsical icons to life!

Print Project

Step 1

Lightly draw designs onto the wood surface using a pencil.
TIP: Your reindeer could be wearing a football jersey! Be as creative and whimsical as you like.

Step 2

Paint your designs, one section at a time. Let dry.

Step 3

Paint the antlers and the base with liquid gilding.
TIP: To save your paintbrush after using liquid gilding, clean it with turpentine. Soap and water will not work.

Step 4

Give your character some... well, character with facial expressions using a small detail brush to paint little lashes. Let dry.
